Levels of Reality, or Fiction/Nonfiction

Fiction: What it says on the tin. Fictional characters acting out their fictional lives.

Weaving Truth and Lies: Somewhere in between. Truer than fiction, a mirror to the real world.

Nonfiction: What it says on the tin. Probably essays. Maybe an autobiography.

General Content Rating

G: General audiences. Everything is sunshine-lollipops-puppies-rainbows. Maybe not really, but everything is generally right in the world.

T: General audiences, but life kind of sucks sometimes. Complex and intense subjects are touched on, but in a way that is acceptable for general audiences.

M: Mature audiences. Complex and intense subjects are explored. This includes explicit sex that is not otherwise intense (except for in a good way) or complex. Usually not oriented for children.

E: Mature audiences. Complex and intense subjects are explored, thoroughly. Anything can and will happen. Checking the tags and proceeding with caution is heavily encouraged. Not for children.
